Walcot Hall is registered with the Care Quality Commission and has achieved a 'good – two star rating' for its standard of care by the Commission. The old hall was built in the 18th Century and has recently been extended to provide both short and long term care for up to 45 people. The hall is set in three acres of mature grounds that include a small lake.

Residents' rooms are arranged over two floors overlooking the lake, garden and surrounding countryside. The older part of the hall has recently been refurbished and a new 26 bed extension was completed in November 2009. The home offers a selection of carefully designed and furnished single and double rooms with en-suite facilities, many with level access showers. All rooms are equipped with a 24 hour nurse call system, television and telephone point – individual telephone services can be arranged on admission at a favourable rate.
